Develop this function as a critical way we identify work for the portfolio.

Responsible for HR function focused on employee experience. Responsible for gaining buy-in of senior executives and influencing in a matrix organization. Facilitate collaboration across functions. Instill the discipline of process change and change management into the organization. Employee Experience Manager will advocate for and improve the experience of employees based on profile and need.

Establishes, builds and maintains strong relationships with key HR partners from all Practice Areas and Service Centers to ensure elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet business needs; includes relationship management, leadership, HR roles/responsibilities, and service delivery commitments.

Be the advocate for employees to represent their needs and drive improvements in their experiences.

Ensure the delivery and integration of services across HR Practice and Service Centers to meet the needs of employees.

Challenge current thinking in a respectful way that encourages collaboration and breakdown of barriers.


Establishes metrics that define the relationship with employees and managers Influences organization to deliver greatest service value to employees and managers In partnership with leaders, drives accountability through cross-HR data and metrics Clarifies a common approach and process for driving experience related work across the organization Represent HR in Abbott-wide customer experience forums.


  • Bachelors degree required, MBA or Masters degree preferred, or equivalent.

  • HR project experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence management to achieve both HR and business objectives.
