JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Job Function:

Responsible for performance of transaction based accounting and financial operations which may include accounts payable, inter-company receivables/payables, accounts receivable and payroll processing and

record keeping of cost and general accounting activities. Work is generally of critical/confidential nature.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

  1. Process and verify transactions following corresponding procedures.

  2. Performs data entry into the system (e.g. SAP, Mega Pay, Clockwise etc.);

  3. Communicates with internal/external customers if needed together/provide required information.

  4. Generates and files required documentation to support accuratefinancial and accounting records.;

  5. Performs reconciliation of accounting data.;

  6. Assists other areas of Finance as assigned by supervisor.;

  7. Performs special projects as required.

Position Accountability / Scope:

(Planning/Organization) Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine

to meet established schedule.; (Decision Making/Impact) Solves a variety of problems of limited to moderate

scope and complexity requiring basic interpretation of defined procedures and practices. Maintains

confidentiality in handling sensitive information or documents.

Minimum Education:

H.S. diploma or equivalent plus 2-5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination. Two-year

degree or some college credits preferred.

Minimum Experience / Training Required:

(Technical/Business Knowledge (Job Skills)) Applies broad knowledge of business concepts, procedures and

practices and a general understanding of department fundamentals. Will perform this job in a quality system

environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.;

(Cognitive Skills) Performs routine and non-routine moderately complex assignments using standard

methods and sequences. Makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements to set processes as directed.

Assignments require broad judgment in troubleshooting proven processes as well as the ability to suggest

alternatives
