JOB DESCRIPTION:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Representative to join our Nutrition Division in the Aged Care sector on a full time, permanent basis. This position will cover the Melbourne Metro West and regional areas including Bendigo, Ballarat and Shepparton.

The main purpose of this role is to ensure sales targets are met through development of key relationships with Aged Care accounts, Dietitians, DONs as well as Nurses in order to grow, maintain and protect the Nutrition business.

Duties include:

  • Develop targeted strategies that will proactively address competitor activity and market trends

  • Represent the company and introduce its products to allocated accounts to achieve and exceed sales targets

  • Plan territory call to achieve targets while targeting high sales areas for maximum growth

  • Achieve agreed daily territory coverage fundamentals including: Customer call reach (Physicians, Dieticians, Aged Care & other institution staff) - expectation is minimum 8 calls average per day

  • Provide territory coverage plans and sales reports as required, including maintaining SalesForce CRM records

  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients

  • Produce a monthly territory Forecast for new business opportunities (and for current business) with existing and potential clients including competitive threats to existing business

  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts throughout their organisation from Dietitians & Key Decision Makers (KDM's) in Aged Care. Ensure their requirements are being met by the company's products. Appraise current and planned customer needs and advise on the application of company products and services to customer requirements

  • Implement specific marketing strategies, programs and sales presentations

  • Monitor tender and proposal expiry dates forwarding to Regional Sales Manager in a timely manner and work with the Regional Sales Manager in tender proposal preparation

  • Manage expenses within set budgets

  • Coordinate with management on product supply and distributor management
