JOB DESCRIPTION:

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will in partnership with Business HR, support and manage all recruitment activities for assigned Abbott business/es.

The role supports multiple departments (commercial, corporate, operations), driving full-cycle recruiting efforts from requirement definition through to offer negotiation and hire using Abbott’s ATS Workday.

All services are delivered within Abbott's model, technology and methodologies and require knowledge of relevant market segments (preferably within Healthcare), Corporate business operations and the ability to translate business needs into recruitment strategies and actions. This position ensures that high quality-standards are met in hiring practices, measured against defined KPIs (Time to fill, Hiring Manager Satisfaction, New hire satisfaction, Quality of slate, Hire Source etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a complete understanding of each client business objectives and strategy.

  • Consult with Hiring Managers and Business HR to understand skill requirements, background and experience needed for each requisition.

  • Work with hiring managers to develop a comprehensive internal and external recruitment strategy for each requirement, setting and managing the expectations on deliverable and timelines.

  • Identification and execution of appropriate sourcing strategy/tools to attract suitable candidates, in addition to fully utilizing all internal Abbott resources.

  • Championing introduction of and use of Social, Digital and Mobile media as recruitment tools.

  • Source, screen and manage candidates throughout the process providing excellent candidate experience.

  • Ensure structured/competency based interview process is followed for each hiring requirement, utilizing additional assessment tools as and when required.

  • Conduct reference checks as appropriate.

  • Manage offer process, including salary negotiations, ensuring the hiring process is completed in line with company procedures.

  • Create effective relationships with new and existing recruitment agencies, maintaining PSL to control recruitment costs, ensuring fixed terms and conditions are in place.

  • Ensure Abbott ATS (Workday) is utilized for all hiring processes.

  • Provide reports to the business as required, including strategic market data and market intelligence.

  • Where necessary, propose required budget for hiring projects, comprising of media strategy, recruitment agencies or fairs, websites, merchandising, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree or equivalent.

  • Fluent English language skills are required, fluency in French is strongly preferred.

  • Strong track record in the area of Recruiting, including direct sourcing, preferably in the Healthcare market (min. 5 years)

  • Strong assessment skills to assess candidate’s business capabilities, technical background and key behaviors.

  • Strong skills in driving and owning the TA process ensuring candidate and client satisfaction.

  • Professional, accountable, high energy and collaborative team player.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Competitive drive, strong work ethic.

  • Motivation to learn, grow and succeed.

  • Ability to build professional relations across all levels of the business, including business acumen with Senior Executives
