Abbott Manager, Strategic Planning & Marketing Intelligence, Coronary and Endovascular, EMEA in Diegem, Belgium
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
In-depth understanding and communication of competitive landscape and customer needs.
Fair and accurate business plans for each country. Effective business and strategic planning process and follow-up, including validation of country input.
Successful marketing campaigns and launches based on well-executed primary research.
Price stabilization and value creation through implementation of regional pricing guidelines and strategies and sharing best practices.
Ability to develop insights and influence stakeholders.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Enhance tools for competitive monitoring and market share assessment
Lead primary and secondary market research projects in collaboration with product marketing teams.
Create and distribute regular reports on competitive position, pricing and market trends. Explain deviations from planned numbers. Give actionable advice.
Provide value input for marketing campaigns and product launches through primary research.
Drive pricing process through guidelines and monitoring systems in collaboration with product marketing and general management.
Support price approval process with relevant information and interpretation.
Member of the Global Market Intelligence and Strategic Planning team.
Drive participation from EMEA geographies in business and strategic planning process in the region according to global / strategic marketing guidelines and in collaboration with finance and product marketing including development of market models.
Interface between EMEA commercial teams and Global Marketing.
Ensure compliance in performing the training as required by the training procedure.
Ensure compliance in reporting product experiences according to AV requirement.
Assist in Business Development and Licensing assessment projects.
Medical device or related life sciences industry knowledge
Understanding of European sales environment and local market conditions
Strong analytical skills and financial understanding
Understanding of Coronary & Endovascular products & related therapies

- Degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration or Economics, Master in Business Administration preferred
5-10 years of related experience in the medical device or life sciences industry
Sales management / country management
