Have you ever thought of leveraging your forensics laboratory experience in Project Management? Don't have experience in a lab but are successful leading the life-cycle of a project? As a Project Manager at Abbott Informatics in Hollywood, FL, you will drive projects end to end for customers as they upgrade and automate their labs. This includes: gathering requirements, building project plans, managing P&L, capacity planning. And, of course, plenty of interface with clients and internal cross functional teams.
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. MBA strongly preferred. Scientific background is a plus.
Strong project management experience is preferred: includes exposure to SCRUM, Agile. PMP certification is a plus.
Background in a forensics laboratory and understanding of the workflow will be highly considered.
Solid customer relationship management skills will be as critical as the above technical experience.
Demonstrated track record of on-time project delivery is essential.
Ability to coordinate resources and work with remote work streams.
Ability to travel 30% of the time to client sites is required.
