Job Description:

Responsible for direction of the organization to ensure the attainment of financial and strategic goals within the geographic area. Responsible for sales operations and marketing. This position ensures that operations work in accordance with corporate procedures and within the local legal, regulatory and cultural framework with support of finance, regulatory/quality, clinical, human resources, communication, legal and IT.

Core Job Responsibilities

Talent Management : Hire, retain, and develop high performing team.

Strategy : Develops the geographic growth vision and overall strategy; ensures alignment of all Country Plans. Develops aggressive business plans that foster growth, speed to market, and profitability. Responsible for building an excellent organization that promotes innovation. Assesses foreseeable risks and ensures all plans at Country level have appropriate contingencies plans.

P&L : Actively manages geographic P&L in order to adapt quickly to evolving business requirements. Controls costs within annual operation expense plans and makes appropriate business case for further investment as required. Monitors, controls cash flow, and inventory levels as planned. Approves performance targets and determines the level of support required to achieve the annual targets.

Compliance : Builds a compliance culture ensuring that all managers and specialists are aware of and comply with statutory or regulatory responsibilities. Ensures company policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Market Trends : Keeps abreast of market and emerging technical trends in all relevant therapies; builds networks with subject matter experts to inspire innovative ways to grow the business.

Leadership : Sells the vision of sustainable business growth to all stakeholders by showing value to them and the business.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:

Responsible for growing the organization and securing new key talent at the country level. Oversee business of $21+MM with high double digits growth. Manage a total team of approx. 30 employees, including 4 direct reports.

Education/Qualifications

Minimum Education

University degree or equivalent in business and/or medical field

Minimum Experience/Training Required

  • Ten years of experience in medical device, preferably class 3.

  • Experience in multiple countries preferred

  • Must have either sales or marketing leadership experience.

  • Strong leadership skills with strategic thinking ability.

  • Demonstrated experience in building high performance teams and managing multi-disciplinary organizations.

  • Proven record of accomplishment in meeting/exceeding revenue goals.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication, influencing and negotiation skills.

  • French language skills mandatory
