The senior financial analyst position is a highly visible, challenging role in the Abbott Diagnostics Division US commercial organization. Located in the Lake Forest, IL facility, the individual will play an integral role supporting a $200 million sales channel and will also support the US Service Organization. Responsibilities include:
o Partner with the channel team & service team to develop sales forecasts for the annual Plan and the monthly Integrated Business Plan.
o Own the P&L for assigned business units, including gross-to-net sales adjustments, customer rebate accruals, price/volume/mix analytics, and expense analysis.
o Act as a key influencer on margin improvement and value expansion programs.
o Develop ad-hoc business analysis and present recommendations to non-finance business partners.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance. An advanced degree is a plus. Four to six years of relevant experience with a high level of motivation and initiative, effective time management, and excellent analytical skills are required. Previous experience supporting a commercial team is desirable. Strong communication and business acumen are essential. Individual must work well both independently as well as part of a team. Must be proficient in Excel. Proficiency in TM1, Access, and SAP is a plus.
