Abbott Implementation Project Manager in Mississauga, Canada

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a Project Manager at Abbott Point of Care. As a member of our Sales team, you will play a key role in providing effective and efficient project management and execution of associated tasks of portfolio of products.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and execute all phases of basic, small-scale and/or low complexity implementations to ensure successful POC testing utilization with APOC systems.

  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly and accurately.

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders within accounts.

  • Develop and execute implementation strategies; utilize available resources effectively, lead and or participate on cross-functional teams.

  • Travel up to 85% of the time domestically by any means necessary to support business goals.

  • Understands and comply with all applicable EHS policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Responsible for implementation and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.

  • Safeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture.

  • Miscellaneous other duties may be required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Undergraduate university Degree (4-year program), or equivalent experience with a preference in Medical Technology, Nursing, Repiratory Therapy or a related discipline.

  • Typically requires 3-6 years of relevant work experience.

  • Ability to manage a project with multiple stakeholders and process owners.

  • Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications.

  • Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.

  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills; analytical and critical-thinking skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to provide solutions and contingency plans through the comprehensive review of alternatives.

  • Ability to speak confidently in public and present material to Executive-level management.

  • Knowledge of MS-Office software and CRM databases
