JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

To assure new or modified test systems conform to internal design requirements and quality standards, as well as establish compliance within the quality system. Responsible for maintaining a strong collaborative partnership with cross-functional team members that facilitates organizational success and meets business needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plans, performs and documents development quality related activities, including but not limited to quality test, procedures for new and modified products and components, engineering test, and reliability tests.

  • Collaborates with R&D and Project Managers to establish test design and acceptance criteria. acceptance criteria.

  • Designs and conducts Process Validation Plans related to products being qualified and new equipment. Writes clear, concise, and complete reports.

  • Uses laboratory test equipment and instrumentation to obtain test data from the devices and be capable of anaylzing the data.

  • Audits software verification. Verifies test equipment/software repeatability.

  • Support quality activities ensuring automated test verification and validation planning, execution, and deliverables comply with quality system regulations

  • Responsible for running compliance and/or performance tests as needed to ensure delivery of a test system, and conducting cross-functional root-cause analysis investigation and issue resolution activities

  • Support and ensure the establishment of objective, measurable, discrete, and verifiable test design requirements

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Computer science, etc.), or in a physical science, a related field, or equivalent.

  • Typically a minimum of three plus years of progressively more responsible work experience in a high technology manufacturing environment.

  • Broad cross-disciplinary and in-depth knowledge of the development quality profession.

  • Requires comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, quantitative, analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills, the ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects as well as the ability to converse effectively with all levels of employees.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Company operating procedures, processes, policies, and tasks.

  • Advanced personal computer skills including spreadsheet, word processing database management, and specialized applications.

  • Documented record of delivering design assurance engineering information which adds value to management's decision making process.
