Primary Job Function:

Apply knowledge and acquired skills to complete tasks and assignments related to assembly and testing of

products and prototypes.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

1.Install, troubleshoot, repair and upgrade systems (electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, chemical,


  1. Read blueprints, schematics and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly of a part,

machine or piece of equipment.

  1. Verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments; test the performance of assemblies.

  2. Complete documentation timely and accurately.

  3. Install parts and hardware using soldering equipment and hand tools.

  4. Work cross-functionally as necessary to accomplish tasks / assignments.

  5. Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures and guidelines; attend all required

training and medical surveillance programs.

  1. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.

Position Accountability / Scope:

Work on tasks that are semi-routine in nature but may require occasional deviation from accepted practice;

normally follows established procedures; requires instructions on new assignments only; has limited role in

decision-making; initiates contact with engineers to resolve non-routine failures;

Minimum Education:

Associates degree or equivalent technical training; consideration will be given to individuals with equivalent

work-related experience.

Minimum Experience / Training Required:

Candidate / incumbent should possess the following:

  • Demonstrated technical competency and working technical knowledge and application of concepts,

practices and procedures;

  • Ability to effectively use hand tools such as a soldering iron, digital multimeter, custom test fixtures, etc;

  • Ability or aptitude to read and understand schematics and other drawings;

  • Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications, particularly those of a technical nature;

  • Ability to work independently and in groups; ability to work cross-functionally;

  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills; critical-thinking skills;

  • Ability or aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software;

  • Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally

appropriate behavior;

  • Ability to lift up to five pounds regularly; ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally;

  • Ability to quickly gain knowledge, understanding or skills and is willing to learn;
