Abbott Clinical Project Leader in S4536, United Kingdom

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Recruiting for an additional Clinical Project Leader to support our clinical programs, in line with Abbott’s clinical strategy. Candidates can be located anywhere in the UK and will support strategic plans as directed by the Clinical Manager and proactively develop KOL relationships. The CPL will be able to converse in and effectively communicate the rationale of using the assigned Abbott products portfolio, must understand the latest developments in good clinical practice and any applicable regulatory and/or legislative requirements in the UK and Ireland that could impact business. They will conduct assigned Clinical Study Projects in line with an agreed clinical investigation plan, ensuring collection and recording of required data to maintain accurate patient documentation and case report forms, coordinate safety evaluation of clinical studies and maintain regular face to face communication at investigational sites on the planning and progress of studies with relevant Company functional specialists and healthcare professionals, applying Company Standard Operating Procedures and Good Clinical Practice to ensure operational integrity and compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSc degree in a relevant discipline, with experience in the medical devices industry. They will be experienced in clinical study start-up and submissions, with experience of HRA, MHRA and IRAS. Strong communication skills and experience of KOL interaction important. Must be willing to travel extensively.
