We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Clerk III, Stockroom/Shipping. Working under general supervision, performs inventory management of finished goods and components in the material control area, such as (but not limited to) : shipping and receiving, marking the serial numbers on substrates, stocking and issuing materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Is also responsible for incoming and out- going mail distribution. Work is performed in accordance with established material control, clean room, inventory, warehousing, and purchasing procedures and documents.
Maintains and performs receiving, stock, and shipping duties per documented procedures. Fills requests for parts as required and issues components or supplies as necessary. Maintains line stocks and point of use inventories.
Supports all types of material transaction records, such as receipts, transfers, issues, returns, shipments, and adjustments for internal and external customers.
Writes up non-conforming material reports as needed for Stockroom/Shipping material.
On a daily basis, enters data into designated tracking systems (i .e., MFG/PRO and Prornis). Reviews entered data against source documents to detect errors and makes necessary corrections on screen .
Enters and maintains purchase orders (PO's) in both manual filing and computer systems to support production activities.
Coordinates replacement of stock and expense items by interfacing with procurement personnel.
Distributes incoming and out going mail/packages .
Maintains usage spreadsheet and distributes cleanroom smocks, shoes, and accessories ; on a weekly basis, may collect worn smocks for cleaning.
May initialize and marks components with identification serial numbers .
May manually color-code each robotic and machine visual system (i.e., MRS!) tip to ensure correct usage on the machine.
As required , prepares inventory analyses that may impact production and notifies supervisor as appropriate.
May operate a pick-and-place (i.e., West Bond) machine to support re-packaging of components as needed.
May perform clerical functions such as, but not limited to, the copying and filing of documents, and prepari g/completing administrative paperwork as required.
Notifies supervisor of the need to replenish supplies/materials.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Typically three plus years of shipping/receiving experience including data entry experience.
Demonstrated manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination .
Incumbents are required to have demonstrated spelling, punctuation , grammar, basic math/numerical , organizational skills, and a familiarity with standard office equipment and procedures .
The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is also required this requirement includes clear, understandable speech and demonstrated comprehension skills.
The demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable U. S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Company operating procedures , processes, policies and rules is essential.
Your preferred qualifications and education:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred . Experience with Microsoft Windows, word processing , and spreadsheet software preferred (MS Office/Excel a plus).
