Key Account Manager B2B (m/f)

who will be proactively developing business relationships with existing key accounts and drive new business opportunities, while ensuring execution of commercial processes leading to greater operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction and meeting sales target.


  • Foster business growth with existing clients and develop new opportunities in the Clinical Trials business with new customers

  • Co-ordinate and prepare customer proposals and budgets for new and existing business opportunities

  • Assess business impact of contracting opportunities to include overall profitability and impact on sales and margin

  • Supervise all customer orders are executed on time minimizing delays to customer

  • Liaise with the appropriate internal departments to ensure operations are running with no delays

  • Anticipate changes in the market environment and provide appropriate strategic recommendations maximizing our commercial objectives

  • Support the Global Clinical Trials Manager to implement the core business processes of SOP, NPI, to ensure Clinical Trials commercial delivery

  • Develop and streamline the commercial business processes with an aim to simplify processes whilst maintaining effectiveness


  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Life Science

  • Min 3 years of work experience required

  • Previous experience in strategic consultancy or in commercial function with pharmaceutical & medical device products. Experience in the Clinical Trials Market would be a plus

  • Self-starter who is target driven, thrives on success, ability to be autonomous and self-motivated.

  • Critical for success: demonstrated analytical capabilities and problems solving skills, negotiation skills, and contract/legal experience, excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Innovative thinking: ability to identify improvement opportunities, challenge status quo and drive changes as required.

  • Incumbent will demonstrate the necessary, self-motivation, attitude, confidence and leadership to work collaboratively with other commercial channels, across functions, with other divisions, functional peers such as Marketing, Contract Marketing, Credit/Finance and Account Sales & Services to deliver business results and solutions

  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus.

  • Travel up to 25%
