Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) is looking for a KOL Manager & Product Training (m/f) based in Wiesbaden who supports and executes Abbott Diabetes Care’s KOL management and product training work stream.

Responsibilities:

  • Executes on ADC’s product training activities (in label). Analyse existing data for effective evidence-based product argumentation for in-label use of Abbott products.

  • Partners with medical team / marketing team, global / AREA functions to drive educational activities.

  • Build trusted and strategic relationships with the national & regional KOLs in diabetes care: identify partnering opportunities and joint projects for in label product training & information.

  • Be a subject matter expert in HTA (health technology assessment) and EbM (evidence-based medicine) and its recommendations on Blood Glucose Monitoring (BGM) and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) to support market access in reimbursement negotiations (in label argumentation).

Qualification:

  • Relevant scientific / medical / educational science background

  • Solid understanding of web-shop IT Hands-on experience in the management of patient with diabetes (e.g. diabetes educator)

  • Experience in working with / presenting of scientific data.

  • Project management experience.

  • Strong scientific foundation and track record in research / training & education.

  • Basic training / knowledge related to statistics and outcomes research.

  • Experience in diabetes education / development of behavioral support programs / patient coaching programs in chronic diseases.

  • Team oriented with the confidence, maturity and integrity to work effectively as a member of one of the top companies in the medical device industry, with customers and suppliers.

  • High personal integrity and ethics required

  • Excellent communication / organization skills required. Comfortable in managing public events and speaking in public.

  • Fluent in German and English
