Primary Job Functions, and Responsibilities:

  • Individuals primary function would be test, prepare/analyze/evaluate/summarize date and document a variety of studies including, but not limited to feasibility, verification, test method validation and developmental stability.

  • In addition to testing, responsibilities would include GMP, GLP, safety procedures, data review, data investigations and instrument troubleshooting.

  • The following responsibilities may be included: verification of peer testing, training others, safety representation, GMP coordinator and metrics.

  • Has minimal procedural errors in testing and documentation.

  • Detail oriented and good organizational skills are important for this job. Individual should exhibit the ability to analyze data and anticipate potential issues.

  • Understands when to highlight concerns.

  • Treats all tasks as important and completes all assignments/requests accurately and completely.

  • Presents data within team.

  • Proficient in testing, laboratory techniques and good manufacturing practices. Alinity ci and/or ARCH experience is a plus.

  • Position maybe first or second shift. Expertise and Problem Solving:

  • Evaluates data and identifies suspect test results or trends.

  • Troubleshoots instrumentation or experiments; recognizes and assists with technical problems.

  • Recommends options for other experiments.

  • Understands when to obtain additional assistance and who the appropriate person would be to seek help from. Project Planning:

  • Participates in planning project tasks; providing input to accomplish assigned tasks.

  • Some knowledge of the need and importance of developmental stability studies.

  • Able to manage assigned tasks by creating plans, actions, steps and timetables to support departmental goals and objectives.

  • Prioritizes work based on departmental needs. Lab Safety:

  • Participates in routine maintenance and lab safety.

  • Follows all GMP and safety rules.

  • Understands the importance of safety in the work place.

  • Encourages others in the lab to follow all GMP/GLP rules.

  • Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Laboratory Practices Documentation:

  • Appropriately and accurately documents experimental procedures and results according to established guidelines.

  • Follows established protocols and follows up with clear and complete documentation.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Understand impact of information and relates pertinent details across projects/products.

  • Reviews own work for accuracy and completeness prior to submitting for approval. Quality:

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.

  • Works cohesively with peers and management – team player.

  • Works constructively with others to resolve challenges and break down barriers.

  • Effectively responds to internal and external changes.

  • Identifies contingency plans when needed.

Minimum Education:

B.S. /M.S. in life of physical science

Minimum Experience / Training Required:

Basic Computer Skills. Knowledge of analytical instruments assigned by supervisor.
