Abbott is seeking a contract recruiter to support the Corporate IT department. This global shared service organization works across all divisions and spans everything from applications, digital technologies, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and more. The contract recruiter will be responsible for managing job requisitions, screening candidates, sourcing of passive candidates, and driving the full lifecycle recruitment process to completion. In particular, this individual will focus on commercial applications delivery which encompasses software engineering, digital architecture, platform services (e.g. Salesforce), e-commerce, and related.
This is a critical role that has a dramatic impact on business performance and candidate experience in support of a global function that is growing and diversifying its scope. Individuals should have 7-15 years of direct responsibility for recruitment, with some experience managing client interactions. Experience contacting and cultivating passive candidates preferred. Experience supporting diversity recruitment preferred. Corporate experience preferred. Fortune 1000 experience a plus.
Provide recruitment and customer service for multiple IT client areas
Review account history as well as market and industry trends
Develop a hiring plan for each recruitment need
Interact with internal clients to define position requirements
Source passive candidates and provide diverse slates of candidates
Interview, evaluate and recommend candidates
Facilitate consensus building and sound decision-making among interviewers
Monitor account goals and deliverables (cycle time, cost, quality, etc.)
Address process non-compliance with hiring managers
Develop competitive offers and close the offer process
Facilitate an effective and efficient candidate process through onboarding
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with hiring managers and candidates
Ensure Workday database is updated in an accurate and timely manner
7+ years of recruitment experience, mostly IT
Corporate experience preferred
Fortune 1000 experience preferred
Workday experience preferred
Superior customer service skills to maintain client relationships
Creativity and problem-solving skills (thinking outside the box)
Candidates must be willing to work onsite 3-5 days per week and be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
