Work closely with global business partners to ensure continuity across regions
Identify and make proposals for new assignments to accelerate learning for global FPDP’s
Drives assignment identification processes, member development planning, rotational forecasting and training and development activities required for leadership development
Participate in recruitment of 16-20 exempt new employees and 25-30 hourly summer interns each year through a combination of campus recruiting, professional affiliation expos or internal/external hiring.
Identify and make recommendations for pairing of Sr. Leader mentors, and engaging Sr. Leaders for multiple large annual events
Direct a staff of up to 40 exempt-level individual contributors in multiple regions. Personnel development through coaching and growth planning, and managing to Abbott PEx standards. (including finance specific competencies)
Responsible for providing guidance and leadership to multiple subcommittees.
Responsible for administration of global FPDP assignment rotations process and brokering of appropriate services, including Relocation, International Compensation, Global Deployment and Business HR.
Oversight of regional FPDP program hiring and onboarding of members.
Ongoing management of FPDP website/database and oversight of Finance website.
Annually manage two offsite Orientations, two PDP weeks and one combined PDP Graduation event
This position could be a grade 16 or 17 based on experience.
5+ years in Finance or Human Resources.
Knowledge of HR regulations, policies and procedures.
Experience working in a global shared services environment to effectively broker services among various functions including HR and Finance.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in business, HR, or Finance/Accounting.
Acumen in Human Resources practices, policies, and compliance preferred.
