Primary Job Function:
Create and analyze Entity forecasts (Pre-Plan, Final Plan & LBE) to assure accuracy and completeness, including reconciliation of the Entity Plans to Divisions' Performance Plan & RLBEs, Provide information and analysis to Senior Management in the Tax and Treasury organizations for accurate tax, cash and debt pIanning, Provide support/education to business regarding compliance with Corporate Policies, Provide support for changes to Abbott’s legal entity structure, and Administration of CEPA’s Hyperion Planning application.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Creation, analysis and consolidation of legal entity plans for over 450 Entities globally. Evaluate the data/processes and identify opportunities to improve entity planning, including analysis of actual results vs the forecasts. Participate in the reconciliation of approx. $31B in Entity Plan sales and $3B of Operating Margin to Performance Plans working closely with Divisions to understand and/or resolve the differences between the two. Collect inputs, model and reconcile Intercompany Non-Operating Income & Expense. Work closely with Treasury and Tax:
(a) To supply solid information and analysis, as requested, related to their area's affiliates,
(b) To understand the appropriate Tax treatment of forecasted items and incorporate into the forecast correctly.
Align with Tax and Transfer Pricing groups to ensure accurate Pre-Plans & allocation of non-operating and corporate expense for transfer price setting. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Provide support to Affiliates for changes to Abbott’s legal entity structure (entity eliminations). Act as a liaison between Affiliate and Entity Governance Board to help resolve issues and navigate obstacles. Work directly with Affiliates & Divisions to provide guidance and education regarding requirements of CFM 6615 and FP-146. Maintain and update systems, tools, training and processes to adapt to business changes as needed (including acquisitions, divestitures & reorganization).
