To better facilitate company growth, Abbott is seeking a contract talent acquisition coordinator to support recruitment within the Corporate division which includes IT, Finance, Legal, and more. The Corporate division is a global shared service organization that works across all product divisions from Devices and Diagnostics to Nutrition and Established Pharmaceuticals. This is a critical role that has a dramatic impact on business performance and candidate experience in support of a global department that is growing and diversifying its scope.


  • Correspond directly with candidates, hiring managers and executive assistants

  • Schedule interviews for external and internal candidates

  • Arrange for travel, lodging, day-of transportation and more

  • Handle expenses and reimbursements

  • Enter information into mobile apps for candidate and hiring manager use

  • Resolve schedule changes and interviewer questions

  • Trigger and monitor progress of candidate drug screens

  • Facilitate an effective and efficient candidate process through onboarding

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with hiring managers and candidates

  • Track and improve performance metrics


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2+ years of career experience in coordinator, assistant, administrative or similar role

  • Corporate experience preferred

  • Fortune 1000 experience preferred

  • Thrive in fast-paced environment that sustains a high volume of activity

  • Superior customer service skills to maintain client relationships

  • Proactivity and problem-solving skills (thinking outside the box)

  • Strong comfort and skill with technology including MS Office

  • Ability to work onsite in Lake County 4-5 days per week
