Our Operations Project Manager will manage major projects or combination of projects to optimize existing processes and ensure production goals are met. Interface with cross-functional team including Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, and Regulatory to develop and execute key projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide planning, leadership and focus to manage deliverables, scope and objectives of major projects and sub-projects.

  • Direct the work of project team members, set goals and objectives, monitor progress on tasks.

  • Provide business updates as needed regarding project status, resource needs and project risks. Escalate issues to management in a timely manner.

  • Mentor employees by sharing technical expertise and providing feedback and guidance.

  • Promote adherence to EHS policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.

  • Develop and execute project plans with cross-functional input by managing critical path, budget, resources, and project risks.

  • Provide significant and positive impact to short/mid/long-term organizational goals.

  • Create a work environment that supports cross-functional team effectiveness.

  • Demonstrate appropriate level of leadership experience to lead and influence others both with and without direct authority; work is performed without appreciable direction; considerable latitude exists in decision-making.

  • Hands-on project leader who works with cross-functional team to support process improvement projects.

  • Owns and manages detailed schedule and critical path.

  • Leads weekly core team meetings.

  • Manages build planning and tracks progress.

  • Help remove roadblocks and keeps the team moving forward.

  • Presents project updates to leadership occasionally.


  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in technical, scientific, engineering related discipline); or equivalent experience and demonstrated competence. Advanced degree such as a Master's or MBA a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience within Operations, Engineering, and/or Process Development.

  • Understanding of engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices and techniques.

  • Some project management experience preferred (schedule, budget, risk, leading meetings, etc), and understanding of Project Management tools and methodologies

  • Skilled in effective leadership, planning, analysis and communication.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills; demonstrated good judgment.

  • Experience in a regulated industry.

  • Ability to utilize commonly accepted project management tools to assist in the development of and adherence to a schedule.

  • Availability to travel up to 20% of the time, domestically and internationally.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, building strong relationships.
