The Director of Sales Operations will be responsible for leading a cross functional team for Pricing & Contracting, Patient Therapy Access and potential other support functions. Primary responsibilities include driving a vision of Operational Excellence in the US CPT and DBS businesses through:

1) leading the analysis and insights to support the sales and marketing organization

2) Pricing and Contracting Analytics to ensure value added decisions are made along with the proper controls and price floors

3) working in conjunction with the marketing team and Sales AVP’s on development of field sales product launches tactical plan leveraging insights and

best practices from the field

4) Leading the Patient Therapy Access team along with the implementation of SFE.com for additional data and analytical insights

5) Lead the sales support functions ensuring alignment with the US commercial organization and that all process and controls are in place.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop pricing & contracting analyses that support >$850MM business by leveraging insights to develop strategy and field execution plans for >300 600 person sales organization.

  • Develop and lead pricing and contracting team to complete complex analyses:

  • Problem Formulation

  • Design of Experiment / Measurement Plan

  • Collect, query, integrate, and transform data

  • Synthesize findings, craft deliverable document

  • Archive knowledge; build plan for next steps

  • Present recommendations to senior leaders

  • Lead Pricing and Contracting and Patient Therapy Access teams to support across two sales organizations (US CPT and DBS along with worldwide pricing governance)

  • Development and execution of PTA process improvements

  • Monthly Pricing analysis and reporting and organization-wide communication of results

  • Identification, integration and dissemination of best practices into marketing strategy and field implementation

  • Lead development of salesforce.com to enable analytical rigor and flawless execution

Education:

BS or BA degree, MS/MBA preferred.

Requirements:

  • More than 10 years’ experience and 3-5 years of director level or equivalent experience in leading cross functional teams

  • Strong ability to work with cross functional partners to drive engagement and achieve results

  • Proven success at leading team to deliver insight. Must have demonstrated ability to lead analyses to completion and present and communicate complex data in non-technical way to guide organizational thinking, strategy development and execution.

  • Demonstrated strong presentation and communication skills. Proven success in presenting complex data to executive senior leaders in an organization and interacting and conducting strategic discussions with multi-divisional leaders.

  • Strong work ethic, passion for the business and driving results.

  • Proven success in ability to recruit, coach and develop organizational talent.
