Manager Business Excellence Austria&Switzerland Diabetes Care
The position is reporting to the Business Unit Manager Austria & Switzerland.
The position plays a key role managing the Austria & Switzerland Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, ensuring high standards of forecast accuracy and alignment with the financial planning process. It serves as an integral point of the commercial and finance organization of the Abbott Diabetes Care Austria & Switzerland Business Unit.
It provides strategic and day-to-day analytical support to the planning process through information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, business intelligence and other sources.
The role works closely with the business unit leadership team and generates data-driven insights for decisions to improve commercial performance, demand planning and stock management in local warehouses.
Major Responsibilities :
Demonstrate leadership approach to the monthly in-country IBP process, coordinate IBP reviews, challenge forecasts and assumptions.
Utilize a collaborative approach by working with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Customer Service and Finance to understand demand forecast drivers and to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts and robust commentaries provided for monthly area review.
Be accountable for the countries’ commercial models and underlying assumptions. Develop comprehensive and realistic demand forecast in units, synched with the supply and financial plans, continuously monitor variables affecting demand, develop accountability for forecast accuracy through KPI reporting and feedback to process participants.
Support the Austria & Switzerland Finance Manager in carrying out planning and reporting activities throughout 6Q LBE/LRP/IBP. Serve as point of contact for the area demand and supply chain team and liaise with other countries’ demand managers. Analyze sales and support in identifying growth potentials.
Assess the effectiveness of field force and marketing activities. Collect information on competitor’s sales, prices, benefits and products, manage new product introductions.
Cover for the Austria & Switzerland Finance Manager during absence. Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Environment, Health & Safety roles, standards and polices. Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Labor Code, internal rules and procedures. Perform ad-hoc tasks on Direct Manager direction.

University degree, preferably in a business or finance/supply chain related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years of business or finance/supply chain experience
Must have excellent system skills, aptitude and experience, especially with Excel
Fluent in German and English
Excellent communication skills
Prior experience in a fast-paced environment / global organization experience a plus
Strong analytical skills
