1.Provide leadership and direction regarding all Abbott interactions with strategic accounts – acting as a trusted advisor 2.Lead and coach in a matrix management environment, e.g. lead a team through persuasion and personal influence that will deliver innovative solutions, high quality, that meet customer needs 3.Follow and flawlessly execute strategic account management (SAM) process. Establish and build deep understanding of account needs, stakeholders and competitive situation 4.Build and lead internal cross functional selling team to execute account strategies 5.Analyze impact of market trends and factors on customers 6.Develop strategic account plans for achieving goals including sales and margin 7.Identify new business opportunities by initiating, developing or delivering unique solutions that result in improved outcomes for customer and company 8.Negotiate long term contracts 9.Oversee progress of cross-functional implementation team (post-sale) 10.Identify new business opportunities to expand current ADD share
