Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives:
Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment. Ensure production equipment operates safely at peak performance, and is GMP compliant. Manufacturing Technician functions include mechanical and fabrication tasks.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and replaces motors
Performs basic fabrication
Troubleshoots and diagnoses conveyor, filler, and pulley systems
Adheres to preventative maintenance schedule on manufacturing equipment
Plans, coordinates and performs facility related shutdown activities as needed or required
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Should have strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read/modify mechanical drawings
Basic electrical knowledge, safety training, LOTO
Welding - MIG/TIG/Stick/Flux experience is helpful
Forklift, Ariel lift experience helpful
Should have basic computer experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; technical degree/certificate preferred
Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
Two years related experience in a manufacturing environment with a background in mechanical systems, conveyors, fillers, etc. GMP experience)
Should have basic computer software knowledge to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
