Our location in Columbus, OH, currently has an opportunity for an Associate Brand Manager to support our Ensure business. This person will be responsible for leading the development of Ensure strategies and programs for Outpatient healthcare professionals to achieve business goals and objectives. Additional responsibilities include partnering with the outpatient field sales force, data measurement and analytics, budget management, and cross functional collaboration on development and approval of HCP marketing materials. This person will also serve as a brand ambassador with key opinion leaders, associations such as AAPA, and other healthcare professional organizations, etc.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Develop and execute HCP activations to grow Ensure recommendations, sales and share for Primary Care and Oncology
Lead direct to HCP marketing plans, creative development and execution optimization to increase program impact, grow recommendations and improve return on investment
Outpatient HCP Field Sales Force liaison responsible for prioritizing material requests/development, material inventory management, monthly communication, sales meeting content development, and integrating field feedback into marketing plans and activations.
Help manage weekly cross-functional alignment meetings and leadership forum elevations, project status updates, notes from meeting, material prioritization lists, etc.
Lead measurement, tracking and research plans for Ensure HCP initiatives, partner with market research and database management teams to deliver meaningful insights risks/opportunities on the business and recommend indicated actions based on new learnings
Monthly budget management and tactical plan inputs for business forecast modelling team
Collaborate with key partners to overcome challenge and achieve marketing objectives; these groups include Field sales force, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Public Affairs, Legal, R&D, Sr. Leaders, Global Abbott Partners and external vendors or agencies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
2+ years of marketing experience healthcare and/or consumer packaged goods industry.
Demonstrated leadership ability and success in project management, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills, including business and financial analysis, with the skills to develop and defend recommendations and tell a story using data.
Advanced level PC skills to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong communication and presentation capabilities with the ability to clearly, concisely, and confidently articulate strategies to a diverse audience of peers, senior leadership, and external partners.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to attain business objectives.
Ability to travel 10-20%
BA/BS Degree in field relevant to marketing or analytics. MBA preferred due to the business complexity and strategic focus of the position.
Experience working with retail customers and sales organizations
