The Finance Manager position is a key role on the Pediatric Nutrition finance team. Key responsibilities include: strategic formulation of business levers to drive growth and profitability, valuation of growth opportunities and/or potential risk, demand planning, and P&L projections for quarterly, yearly processes. This position is the key financial point of contact supporting the PediaSure & Pedialyte brand marketing teams.
This position (1) gains extensive knowledge of business conditions and marketing strategy through interactions with marketing directors and other cross functional areas (2) coordinates forecast process and supporting documentation for Plan and LBE (3) delivers strong communication with Business Unit senior leadership and marketing team on forecast and rationale (4) provides ad hoc analysis on many performance related issues and communicates responses in a clear, concise manner.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop financially sound financial projections around ongoing priorities such as pricing, promotion and competitive response analytics.
Forecast Consumption and Shipments for the Kid Toddler brands, and provide consumption and inventory level analytics by channel/customer
Responsible for managing the LBE and S&OP process for PediaSure & Pedialyte. This will include being an active member of a team responsible for preparing and presenting to senior management.
Develop innovation models and forecasts based on market research and key consumer insights.
Manage 1 direct report. Responsible for both their training and development.
Responsible for key month end close responsibilities which includes commentary for key financial variances and researching anomalies.
Ownership of determining and explaining price/volume mix within the portfolio.
Responsible for Finance Division submissions which includes financial roll forwards, KPI dashboards and other related schedules
Provide forecast and financial modeling to upper management using multiple sources of data.
Other ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Gain extensive knowledge of retail business conditions through interactions with retail sales directors and retail sales teams
5-7 years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience, previous commercial finance experience a plus.
Leadership. This role is not a behind the scenes analytical position. It is a champion for change with strong forecasting skills. The individual will lead directly and indirectly and influence up, down and sideways in the organization.
Proven critical thinking skills to identify and share business implications of financial results; Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Self starter and highly motivated; ability to manage multiple priorities and changing customer demands.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as this role interacts with multiple levels within the AN organization.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment is essential.
Strong PC/system skills:
Excel and PowerPoint expertise is a must. Expert Excel skills and experience a plus.
Ability to construct and maintain databases by importing, exporting and filtering data through tools such as MS Access. Experience with Excel macros a plus.
Advanced ability to develop Ad-Hoc reports using tools such as Cognos and Excel.
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; MBA preferred
