Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain Master Data team's core purpose is to provide trusted data that supports multiple processes and departments across supply chain and commercial. Site Level Analyst’s key function within Master Data team is to distribute customer forecasts for every finished product throughout the US distribution network. The Site Level Analyst will set the distribution based on customers’ regional and national ordering patterns, changing market trends, AN business initiatives and new product assumptions. Site Level Analyst’s key internal customers are Production Planning, Internal Deployment, Warehousing and Logistics.
The team is a dynamic environment with competing priorities, multiple projects demands and multiple systems to navigate to daily. The job requires data analysis, problem solving, attention to detail, customer service and drive for results attitude. The Site Level Analyst also requires leadership skills to lead project efforts and complex data analysis to identify the proper trends in the data. Experience in supply chain distribution, demand forecasting, SAP/ECC or APO highly preferred.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Analyze, validate and implement site level forecast data that supports the distribution network of 20+ locations for over 1000+ finished products. Total scope is 21,000+ product, location and customer level combinations.
Lead complex analysis, data audits or projects to ensure site level data is accurate for the type of product, customer or location.
Analysis and audits require the ability to extract and analyze large volume of data through reporting tools and Microsoft tools.
Generate and report key performance metrics to measure site level or master data accuracy.
Work closely with Demand Planning, Internal Deployment, Customer Service, Sales Force and Logistics to ensure New Products and existing customers have the proper forecasts. A proper forecast ensures the right product is available at the right time to support the end customer’s order.
At least 5, typically 7 or more years of experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
Experience in forecasting, SAP/ECC, BOBJ or APO highly preferred
