Primary Job Function

The primary responsibility of the TPM Business Leader, Third Party Manufacturing is to manage BAU (Business As Usual) activities across a portfolio of Domestic TPMs. The role will be 100% accountable to build and maintain relationships across the TPMs and ANSC while delivering margin and profitability improvements across the ANPD (Pediatric and Adult) and ANI (Pediatric and Adult) businesses. Clear roadmap and opportunity for learning and growth within the group based on performance.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • This position will be responsible for managing multiple Third Party Manufactures and business critical projects (including creation and maintenance of contracts / supply agreements) to ensure that production requirements are met on time and in full.

  • This position will be responsible for learning the business, systems and processes by working closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, R&D, Purchasing, Regulatory, Legal, Production Planning, and Logistics to ensure continuity in supply on on-market products.

  • Generate and communicate KPI metrics to TPMs and internal management as part of the Global TPM tier review process, TPM of the Year award program, and Monthly Business Review meetings.

  • This position is responsible for the successful resolution of all business and supply chain issues with Third Party Manufacturers that affect product quality or availability.

  • This position will work closely with the Portfolio Expansion team to transition new products and new TPMs into business as usual status.

  • Evaluates cost / benefit of various financial scenarios and makes recommendations to senior management. Coordinates internal and external resources to address issues and secure the supply chain.

  • Leads internal and external teams to manage cost and process improvement projects. Identify, share and replicate best practices across the internal and external supply chain network.

  • Travel 35%

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA desirable, but not necessary.

  • These levels of education will allow the Business Manager, Third Party Manufacturing to manage a wide range of business, technical, financial, and operational issues.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified or equivalent desirable but not necessary

  • Green Belt / Black Belt certified desirable but not necessary

Minimum Experience/Training Required

  • Proven history of delivering results and very strong work ethic is the key success factor and expectation for this position.

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with ownership and accountability for the entire supply chain.

  • Must have experience in working with multiple functional areas and possess an understanding of the various operational disciplines (Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing, Production Planning. Strong oral and written presentation skills along with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Must possess excellent problem solving and logical thinking skills.

  • This position will frequently interact with the principle business owner or senior management staff at the Third Party Manufacturer to discuss projects and negotiate issues and resolve problems.

  • This position requires frequent travel to Third Party Manufacturers on short notice as business conditions demand.
