This position will be responsible for managing multiple Third Party Manufacturing start-up programs (including creation of contracts / supply agreements) to ensure that production requirements are met on time in support of launches.
This position will be responsible to search for contract manufacturing options, visiting and assessing the capabilities of those options, executing bid processes with the potential TPMs, selecting a TPM, and implementing a contract and execution plan to bring products to market.
This position will be responsible for learning the business, systems and processes by working closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, R&D, Purchasing, Regulatory, Legal, Production Planning, and Logistics to ensure selection of high-quality, capable third party partners that meet the business needs.
This position will work closely with the Ongoing Operations/Business-As-Usual team to transition new products and new TPMs into business as usual status.
Evaluates cost / benefit of various financial scenarios and makes recommendations to senior management. Coordinates internal and external resources to address issues and establish a sustainable, quality source of supply.
Leads internal and external teams to manage cost and process improvement projects. Identify, share and replicate best practices across the internal and external supply chain network.
This position will cover global markets and global locations for third parties.
