We are looking for a Product Specialist, Abbott Diabetes Care to join our team in Denmark
Abbott Diabetes Care is an innovative and vastly growing Medical Devices Division with a strong footprint in Nordics & Benelux due to its strong products such as the Freestyle Libre. Due to the increase in market share in an increasingly complex area, we are now looking to grow our team further with a Product Specialist, Abbott Diabetes Care.
Primary objective of the position
The Product Specialist is accountable for all customers in the district. The product specialist is responsible together with Field Force Training Manager and Sales Manager to provide value to the customers to ensure market growth.
Represents Abbott Diabetes Care to customers. Secure that the Abbott Diabetes Care product portfolio and Ambulatory Glucose Profile is the preferred standard of care within specialty care and for all insulin treated patients in secondary care, accordingly to the agreed upon sales objectives for each calendar year. Execute product launches that meets the targets agreed upon.
Responsible for planning and execution of high quality sales calls and ensure that all are in line with product strategy as well as Abbott policies and procedures
Uses PSS selling skills to achieve individual and team goals.
Targeting, segmentation, call frequency and coverage according to agreed target.
Responsible for planning and organizing of educational meetings with customers from own districts.
Participate in regional and national meetings.
Ensure customer satisfaction through any contacts to support our aim for being the preferred partner.
Completes all administrative tasks accurately and on time (Sales Force Excellence (SFE) synchronization daily, expense reports, checks e-mails on a daily basis.
Executes, evaluates and updates strategic excellence plan, monthly sales reports and KOL management.
Educational background and Work Experience
Bachelor degree as minimum, preferably in Medical, Marketing, business administration or engineering.
Technical or science education or equivalent work experience to understand the complexity of the products as well as the customer needs is to prefer.
Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references.
Good product and industry knowledge.
Strong commercial experience, commercially driven.
Strong solution selling and relationship building skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues.
Long-term, strategic focus on account.
Masters the English language as well as Danish fluently, both orally and in writing.
