Abbott EMEA Field & Customer Development Manager - Mitraclip in Diegem, Belgium
For our Structural Heart Training Team, we are recruiting an EMEA Field & Customer Development Manager - Mitraclip position.
Primary Job Function:
This field-based is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing policies, procedures, practices and strategy for achieving comprehensive Mitraclip Training programs.
Establish clinical proficiency goals that will facilitate positive clinical outcomes
Will be required to lead training for current and future generations of product portfolios. The position will assume the additional responsibilities of new therapy areas/ new target audiences, patient pathways, and identified needs.
Collaborate/ deliver product and procedural expertise in tender presentations and scientific congress sessions. High level of collaboration with KOL stakeholders to develop training materials, procedural expertise for both internal and external audiences.
Collaborate and validate R&D efforts on product development to ensure that the voice of the customer is accurately being captured and that our output meets their needs. Support clinical advancement and expansion of our therapy offerings by developing protocols for therapy delivery.
Add the roll out of all compliance related activities for training. Act as subject matter expert for training related topics in internal and external audits and assessments.
Assume full responsibility for systematic monthly tracking of training program performance including but not limited to: time to account start up, number of accounts starting/not-starting, time to certification of internal employees, etc.
Plan, schedule, and complete projects in an aggressive manner consistent with corporate objectives.
Regularly communicate with Sr leadership concerning lessons learned, clinical studies and marketing materials.
Proactively support company goals, objectives, policies and procedures, an EU and US regulations.
Minimum Experience / Training Required
Ten years of relevant work experience, including over 1 year of Abbott case proctoring experience in the Structural Heart for MitraClip. A clinical background and/or strong clinical knowledge and aptitude. Strong communication skills, specifically an ability to deliver effective training to large and small audiences. Ability to work with several levels within the organization and in cross functional teams. Solid understanding and application of business concepts, procedures, and practices. Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
