The Quality Engineer (Supplier Quality) supports the activities used in the development, implementation and maintenance of all aspects of the Supplier Quality Management program to support the needs of the ADC organisation and in compliance with worldwide Compliance and Regulatory standards as they relate to supplier management.

Major responsibilities of the Quality Engineer (Supplier Quality) are as follows:

  • Ensure that the ADC Approved Supplier List is maintained up to date and accurate.

  • Support effective and timely supplier maintenance activities such as quality system assessments, supplier process assessments and supplier performance monitoring.

  • Monitor and report on supplier performance and supplier quality trend.

  • Support the development and implementation of supplier continuous improvement plans and activities as related to supplier processes e.g. Supplier Certification, Supplier Performance Monitoring etc.

  • Collaborate with various disciplines including design and development, technical, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and regulatory in order to provide support activities as related to supplier management. This will require teamwork, interpretaion of quality system requirements and the ability to be creative in achieving objectives while assuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

  • Ability to be innovative and flexible in achieving objectives.

  • Collection, analysis and interpretation of data to assist in making data driven decisions.

Education and Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering disciplines

  • 3 Years’ experience in an engineering, science or manufacturing with experience in the medical device environment preferred.
