We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Reliability Engineer based in Fermoy (North Cork) and this role will involve the following:

Senior Reliability Engineer is an engineering professional who applies scientific and engineering knowledge with mathematics and ingenuity to improve processes, apply maintenance excellence best practices and reliability. This will involve working closely with the TPM site engineering and operations team and the ADC engineering and operations team to optimise asset utilisation and maintain output to meet planned volume requirements and reduce support costs of the assets. Working with the ADC process SMEs the Sr Reliability Engineer will oversee and develop the Preventive and predictive Maintenance programs and design out repeating issues. The role will be to support the TPM teams across two sites in Ireland and will also support the site in US on occasions, a key aspect of the role will to maintain best practices across multiple sites through standard work instructions and sharing lessons learned.

The successful candidate will work closely with the ADC SMEs for their processes, the ADC project team delivering new lines, OEMs, and US based Sr Reliability Engineers to deliver and maintain consistent approach across multiple lines on multiple sites. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to own and lead the process support and improvement.

Will have experience in optimising line performance, Improving automated manufacturing equipment through designing out repeating issues and driving incremental gains in yield, output and efficiency as well as communicating updates to TPM and ADC engineering teams and OEMs. Working with Technical author will build a library of standard work instructions that will be rolled out to TPM engineering teams across multiple sites. Experience in change control in medical devices or a regulated environment would also be desirable.

• Provide support to TPM and ADC engineering teams for Libre manufacturing processes and will have accountability for optimisation and delivering output requirements.

• Knowledge of automated equipment support, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.

• Deliver process improvements to drive yield and output improvements. Collaboration with multiple site system specialists to roll out standard work practices and Best practice.

• Experience of production systems in a manufacturing/engineering environment.

• Coordinate and contribute to the design of SOPs and technical design specifications and share best practices and updates with multiple sites, project team and OEMs so new lines have improvements designed in.


  • Previous Lean Six Sigma Training• Managing the Identification, cost and lead time of robust spares to support process.
