Ambassador Abbott Transfusion – Technical Specialization (m/w)
Position based in Frankfurt am Main
About the position:
As an Ambassador for Abbott Transfusion you are responsible for the performing service delivery and inventory management for PRISM, ARCHITECT and ALINITY Transfusion customers and any other systems that are part of an Abbott Solution and driving expansion of transfusion accounts. You are the account manager for our customer and technical expert of the Abbott transfusion products.
While fulfilling this role you have contact with other Ambassadors for Abbott Transfusion in Europe.
The tasks and responsibilities:
Break and Fix for PRISM, ARCHITECT and ALINITY products. All are advanced instruments to perform blood screening assays (immuno-based).
Drive value expansion by managing and closing service sales opportunities.
Be part of selling team to manage contract renewals.
Assist enterprise sales specialists with regular customer business reviews on c-suite level.
Conduct service support and reliability review on site level.
Inventory Management - ensure that inventories match with donations.
Order Management - track order / standing order schedules.
Provide Pro-Care implementation (inc. Preventive Maintenance) and expertise.
Be part of a virtual expert network for Europe.
Pro-active monitoring of transfusion instruments in case this is implemented for assigned customers.
Provide application expertise / support.
Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), service key performance indicators achievement, Area Europe sales, margin and EP goals and agreed win rate and retention rate.
Requirements we are looking for:
Bachelor or master degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical), Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology is preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the diagnostic industry or comparable with an emphasis performing service delivery and inventory management
Excellent product and industry knowledge
Ability to identify and drive resolution of technical issues
Strong experience in use of analytical tools and software
Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics. With a long-term and strategic focus on an account
Strong solution selling and relationship building skills
Excellent communication skills in German and English
Willing to travel within Germany (Goettingen, Hagen, Springe, Bad Oyenhausen, Frankfurt
