Abbott Marketing Coordinator in Guatemala, Guatemala

Primary Job Function

Responsible for the development of the HCP Marketing Adult strategies, implementation of programs and materials that promote a greater knowledge regarding nutrition, strengthen Abbott Nutrition position as preferred ally to KOLs, Health Care Professionals (HCPs), scientific associations, hospitals and other groups of interest. Coordinate efforts with Marketing and General Management.

Position can be located in Costa Rica or Guatemala.

Core Job Responsibilities

Relate with stakeholders: Identify key interest groups in the Adult business and develop strong business relationships, understanding and anticipating their need to achieve a greater knowledge and product preference. Develop interdisciplinary work groups that promote the design and implementation of optimal nutritional guidelines and support Abbott Nutrition in the identification of market opportunities following the relevant scientific advances.

Determine the objective population based on the market strategies that have an impact on the division or business unit (adult and/or Adult).

Define diffusion opportunities of nutrition knowledge in the medical area according to the activity guidelines of the defined objective groups.

Support and asses the market area and demand generation in the identification of opinion leaders, interest topics and specific brand event participation.

Implement CME programs that achieve a greater conscience of nutrition importance as well as Abbott differentiation and strengthening of the scientific positioning of the products through the establishment of Abbott programs and medical association education plans.

Program and coordinate the existing groups chores.

Establish the action focus in the academic activities with strategic allies that give support on the spread of nutrition scientific basis to favor the interest on the development of integrated nutrition guidelines to the medical areas.

Transact administrative support processes to achieve the activities:

Support logistic activities relative to the development of the academic activities (Congress, symposium, speaker tour).

Measure Abbott participation impact at key congress for the area.

Develop materials for HCPs jointly with Medical and Creative Agencies such as Visual aids, snackable, left behind, gimmicks and others that support or scientific message in the HCP calls, CMEs and other touch points Generate an execution calendar of CMEs and Materials for the markets aligned with Brand Manager and Field Marketing Understanding Design and execute social responsibility programs: Identify opportunities to develop social initiatives that help satisfy the populations nutrition and health needs, at the same time position Abbott and its products. Coordinate public relations activities to promote and spread general interest information, as a result of promotional and educational activities.

Minimum Education Required:

  • Licentiate degree in healthcare are, preferably in nutrition, marketing, business administration.

Minimum Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial areas.
