Summary:

Contributes to multiple projects and design changes in support of investigations. Resolves product problems and technical issues with minimal oversight within single functional area.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Maintains adherence to Quality System - Implements and maintains the effectiveness of the quality system.

  2. Design Control - Executes defined protocols and experiments and development of associated data packages.

Applies defined quantitative methods,analyzes data,evaluates results,forms conclusions and provides and implements improvements.

  1. Risk Mitigation - Reviews technical risks and takes appropriate action.

  2. Technical Investigation Support - Support investigations of single function system issues.

  3. Collaborates across functional areas - Exchanges information with product team members,scientists,engineers,and other systems development personnel. Works well with others in a collaborative,goal-driven environment.

  4. Technical Leadership and Mentoring - May provide input into project and design plans and timelines.

Additional skills:

  • Alinity knowledge and experience preferred

  • Experience in IDA and JMP data analysis preferred

  • Takes initiative to develop own talent, skills and ability and proactively contributes to team

  • Skilled and effective in communication and documentation of technical detail to team and peers

Accountability/Scope/Budget:

Provides input to process optimization techniques: set targets,ranges and specifications,Capability (CPk),Test Method development,determine manufacturability and FPA Basic operation of one system component and troubleshoots at customer replaceable level.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Life or Physical Science,Bioengineering,Biomedical Engineering or closely related discipline is preferred. 0 years’ work experience with degree or sufficient transferable experience to demonstrate functional equivalence to a degree. May have knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics. Good Lab Practice, Good Manufacturing Practice, laboratory duties, PC Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Data representation.
