Primary Job Function:

  • Subject Matter Expert on Goal Oriented Learning System TM; including Learning Units; Verification ; Assessment ; and Certification Procedures.

  • Supports and promotes the Goal Oriented Learning Culture.

  • Provides training support to a large client area of diverse functional groups (i.e. R&D; Technical Support; Commercial; Finance

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assists Learning supervisor/manager in defining training needs for a particular department or area. Establishes course requirements and training plans for each employee.

  • Initiates Requests for Training (RFTs) as needed.

  • Works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs); Learning System Specialist ; Learning Unit Developers; and Instructional Designers to define learning content and build a robust curriculum.

  • Provides orientation training support for new hires and transfer employees. Ensures compliance with all Training Procedures and Policies.

  • Maintains change control for all training records. Prepares learning metrics for management review.

  • Establishes strong working relationships with business areas. Establishes priorities and work flow with Learning Management.

  • Facilitates in Group Verifications; Cross Verification; and other Group Learning Events.

  • Helps coordinate new Learning Unit implementations with the Process Owner and Learning Unit Developer . Coaches and encourages progress in all learning areas.

  • Good Instructor Skills (teach intro classes such as "Using the Learning Unit"; "Go-Verify "; "Go-Assess" ; etc).

  • Participates in compliance audits


  • Bachelor's degree in a learning or closely related discipline preferred; or equivalent work experience and knowledge

  • Thorough understanding of the Goal Oriented Learningr• System Procedures. Strong interpersonal skills (within sites, across sites, between Divisions) .

  • Good presentation skills (learning concepts, data, projects, etc). Communicate well with all levels of the organization.

  • Good analytical skills to demonstrate learning metrics.

  • Able to manage multiple client areas (R&D, Commercial, Quality, etc). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) .

  • Provides monthly reviews, status reports, and project summaries
