Abbott Clinic Deployment Lead in Kansas City, Missouri

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinic Deployment Lead within our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics business located at our Kansas City, Missouri office. In this role, you will execute various special projects to support Clinic Solutions goals and objectives.

Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (formerly Alere) is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.


  • Dailycommunication with client contacts via phone and email

  • Organizelarge lists of clients during various phases of a project plan

  • Simultaneouslyexecute project plans for several different client groups

  • Assessreadiness and special considerations for clients as it relates to its projectplan

  • Trainclients and ensure implementation of new products and functionality

  • EscalateIT, training, implementation, account management, and sales issues toappropriate parties at eScreen

  • Coachdeployment team as necessary, ensuring that all team members are adhering torecommended timelines

  • Workas liaison between deployment team and marketing, IT and necessary stakeholders


  • 1-2 years or more of relevantprofessional experience in client-facing related roles OR candidates withBachelor’s degree in Communications, Health Administration, Business or similardegree

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to install (andtrouble-shoot) basic PC components, printers, Internet connections, WIFI andother common technology components used to run our eScreen software

  • Highly organized individual withability to work several different contacts at the same time while implementingmultiple project plans over the course of several months

  • Able to use Salesforce or a ClientRelationship Management (CRM) platform

  • Able to complete administrativeduties, attend conference calls and balance pre- and post- implementationcoordination with clients as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree inCommunications, Health Administration, Business or similar degree preferred

  • Public speaking, presentation andtime-management skills

  • Experience with executing a projectplan

  • Experience with one-on-one trainingand software training

  • Knowledge ofeScreen products and software applications a plus

  • Strong communicator with a passionfor teaching, instruction, training and working with individuals or groups ofpeople

  • Good phone skills in order toeffectively implement via phone and coordinate future implementations with newand existing clinics
