Primary Job Function:
The Global Medical Informatics, Clinical Care Excellence leader will plan, develop and implement winning strategies to penetrate and grow market share and revenue in the clinical care space. Partner with area commercial leaders on go-to-market strategy. Collaborate with R&D to guide product development. Consult effectively with laboratory and hospital leadership to understand their needs and translate into business opportunities. Influence key stakeholders and promote the business value proposition. Demonstrate measurable success through improved patient and medical care outcomes.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Deliver financial commitments in revenue and margin for a portfolio of products under Clinical Care Excellence P&Ls.
Develop solution value-proposition, positioning, go-to-market strategies, pricing, roadmap development and through thought leadership.
Align with Enterprise Strategy and Vision while defining future investment plans, including ROI, for executing Product or Service Roadmap
Consult with customers to illustrate how they can achieve enhanced clinical business outcomes by improving department systems and technology utilization.
Manage P&L of $20+ million, meet or exceed sales and margin commitments.
Own success for Clinical Care Excellence team with primary responsibility for Clinical Decision Support (CDS) system, Utilization Management System (UMS), and related professional service offerings.
Build roadmap to rapidly penetrate the market and grow revenue; collaborate with area commercial leaders to develop and execute an annual strategic plan to meet sales and margin commitment.
Align direct and dotted lined resources on action plan; ensure they have the appropriate training and resources.
Collaborate with customer to set measurable improvement targets and establish a method to quantify the value of those targets.
Develop and maintain method to measure and quantify our customers’ efficiency and healthcare outcomes improvement (including health economic results across key stakeholders (patients, physicians, etc.) and their healthcare organization.
Participate in the delivery of a range of projects, defining project scope, goals, business case and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders and meet revenue targets.
Establish relationships and liaise with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, R&D, Service and other functions within the BU and Key stakeholders from other BI like Core, Hematology, transfusion etc..
- Medical Degree is required.
10+ years of progressively responsible experience; have led or been closely involved with new product development, including developing and launching a novel product.
Informatics: understand how technology can improve clinical business outcomes.
Medical: deep technical knowledge with ability to articulately converse with C-level and medical experts.
Consulting: external-facing experience building playbooks and solutions for clients.
