The Finance Manager will manage the implementation and ongoing Lease Accounting requirements for the Diagnostics Division at the Headquarter level and be responsible for managing roll out and future state accounting for specific contract arrangements for all global Affiliates.

The role provides significant exposure to the Diagnostics business and interacts with all Finance teams as well as Commercial and Contracting / Pricing organizations across the domestic and international affiliates.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Establish a sustainable process to meet the reporting and disclosure requirements under the new FASB standard.

  • Lead design and global roll out of new systems supporting the implementation and execution of the new FASB lease accounting requirements.

  • Manage the month end close process for all global lease accounting activities and provide relevant reporting packages.

  • Ensure proper systems maintenance and documentation of entries.

  • Establish and execute planning process for rolling LBE forecasts capturing the impact of the accounting standard changes.

  • Lead annual global scope assessment and review with Divisional and Corporate Management. This includes an annual global survey and review with all major affiliates.

  • Global Subject Matter Expert consulting all Diagnostics organizations supporting the accounting for impacted contract arrangements.

  • Evaluate and implement future process and systems enhancements after initial roll out to continue to drive process efficiency and accounting and forecast accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA or MBA preferred.

  • 6+ years of finance experience.

  • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics highly desired .

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex topics to a broad financial and non-financial audience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills interacting with domestic and international organizations within ADD, all Finance towers (including FP&A, Shared Services, CFS), and ADD senior management.
