Primary Job Function :
Provides support for developing, updating and maintaining basic and routine elements of the Abbott Diagnostics compliance program.
Assists the development and administration of Diagnostics OEC education and training (including supporting materials) and assists with the development, implementation and administration of division monitoring plan.
Core Job Responsibilities :
The Sr. Analyst performs the following with significant supervision from Compliance Manager/Compliance Director.
Supports and communicates with divisional mid-level management to provide basic and routine OEC and divisional policy interpretation and requirements, and assists with compliance risk assessment, trend analysis and best practice recommendations.
Assists in conducting basic and routine policy and procedure reviews and updates related to OEC policy and divisional procedures ensuring clarity, applicability and compliance.
Delivers and assists with updating OEC training programs on basic and routine OEC and divisional policies and procedures including USP&P and Abbott's Code of Business Conduct.
Assists in developing, conducting, and modifying corporate and/or divisional monitoring plan to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Coordinates and participates in Compliance Review Committee meetings. Provide the tracking and trending data.
Identifies basic legal and regulatory issues and elevates as appropriate.
Developing knowledge of Abbott Diagnostics businesses and client areas supported.
Supervisory/Management Responsibility :
- No direct reports.
Position Accountability/Scope :
Accountable to Ethics & Compliance Officer, OEC Director, or OEC Manager.
Operates independently with well-defined expectations, checking in with supervisor(s).
Provides guidance and direction to Coordinators and/or Associate Compliance Analysts, as needed.
Minimum Education :
- BS/BA required.
Minimum Experience/Training Required :
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with, or exposure to, business functions such as compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, governmental affairs, and finance.
