The Senior Financial Analyst will support the implementation and long-term ongoing Lease Accounting requirements for the Diagnostics Division at the Headquarter level and be responsible to support the roll out and future ongoing process for all global Affiliates.

The role provides significant exposure to the Diagnostics business and interacts constantly with all Finance teams as well as Commercial and Contracting / Pricing organizations across the domestic and international affiliates providing extensive insights in local business strategies and practices and building strong business partnerships with teams around the world.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Establish a sustainable process to meet the reporting and disclosure requirements under the new FASB standard.

  • Support design and global roll out of new systems supporting the implementation and execution of the new FASB lease accounting requirements.

  • Establish and perform the month end close process for all global lease accounting activities and provide relevant reporting packages. Ensure proper systems maintenance and documentation of entries.

  • Establish and execute planning process for rolling LBE performance forecasts capturing the impact of the accounting standard changes and review with DHQ and Commercial FP&A teams.

  • Manage annual global scope assessment with all affiliates and review with Divisional and Corporate Management. This includes an annual global survey and review with all major affiliates.

  • Global support and consulting all Diagnostics organizations supporting the evaluation of impacted contract arrangements.

  • Evaluate and implement future process and systems enhancements after initial roll out to continue to drive process efficiency and accounting as well as forecast accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA or MBA preferred.

  • 6 years of experience or an advanced degree with 5 or more years of experience.

  • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex topics to a broad financial and non-financial audience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills interacting with domestic and international organizations within ADD, all Finance towers (including FP&A, Shared Services, CFS), and ADD senior management.
