The Informatics Sales Representative assists sales force with positioning data management (informatics) products and service solutions to meet the customers needs and drive sales of ADC products and services. It includes determining customer needs, developing account specific strategies, creating customer commitment to change, and building the value of ADC and it's promotional partners informatics and service solutions resulting in a foundation for a smooth implementation of the products and customers satisfaction long term. The Network Integration Executive may also provide high level project management leadership for large and complex data management product integrations into hospital or healthcare networks and enterprise applications, including managing IT portion of Abbott product integration projects and internal Field Support IT projects. This includes, but is not limited to, the following deliverables throughout life of project: customer requirements/needs; sales quote development and delivery; project plans; scope/statements of work; hardware requirements; requirement specifications; acceptance documentation; management and deployment of internal and external resources; issue escalation; following documentation standards and procedures; effectively communicating information to cross functional team; providing status reports to sales and sales management; assuring project is properly scoped for integration into customer sites (field based).
Sell informatics and service solutions to drive closure and retention of key Abbott customers. Maintain key reference sites for Abbott and promoted partners data management products by long term post project contact with customers to achieve total satisfaction and expert customer product knowledge. Take part in Abbottsponsored customer symposiums on data management. Provide project leadership in the design, development or integration, installation and
support of, technical solutions, including mapping business processes related to field network implementations. Interface with internal and external partners to meet project requirements. Maintain expert knowledge of TCP/IP networks, Windows Server Operating System and Database platforms, healthcare and general IT security standards, best practices for backups, virus software and security patching. Take on special projects as assigned by Informatics Service Sales Manager or Director.
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma and 9 years Information Technology expeirence in technical support, project management or informatics sales. Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field of study and project management certification preferred.
MINIMUM TRAINING & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Expert knowledge of IT applications, infrastructures and impact on business; hospital or healthcare informatics experience preferred. Experience installing or supporting or selling mission critical healthcare software and infrastructure. Expert knowledge of Windows operating systems, Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture Ethernet, LAN, WAN and remote access solutions. Expert at managing deliverables and resources of multiple simultaneous projects Expert at using MS Project or other project management applications. Expert at taking action that goes beyond defined job requirements to achieve objectives. Demonstrate superior troubleshooting and critical thinking skills and ability to create/communicate resolution plans for open issues. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills Expert at identifying alternative ways to view or define problems and at using many and diverse sources for ideas and inspiration.
ACCOUNTABILITY / SCOPE
Assigned to prospective accounts by Informatics Service Sales Manager primarily related to informatics and service sales of and integration of Abbott or third party partner's data management products into customer sites (field based). Work with regional and national sales specialists to identify opportunities, create and implement sales strategies and leverage the necessary sales tools and programs to optimize sales opportunities. Minimum overnight travel 70% (by all means of transportation).
