Abbott Business Process Specialist - Services and Supply Chain - Medical Devices in Machelen, Belgium
We are currently recruiting for a Business Process Specialist to join our European Distribution Center in Machelen.
As a Services & Supply Chain Business Process Specialist , you will define, implement and support globally standardized Customer Service and European Distribution Center related Supply Chain processes through Project management, Change management and Lean thinking. You will also support the future growth of the organization by facilitating fast cross-functional change opportunities through increased process efficiency, quality and transparency.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Project management (LEAN Six Sigma):
Standardization & globalization of processes and SAP
Set-up of project planning and close follow-up
(Global) Coordination of a cross-functional team.
Progress reporting towards management
Business and System Analysis :
Guarantee integration of new business requirements (eg. acquisitions), business processes and procedures into ERP and other systems
Translate business requirements to IT and execute test scripts
Be able to understand business problems and leverage the use of technology to solve these problems. Assist in optimization of the EDI integration
Back-up for master data maintenance
Implementation of new or changed business processes :
Ensure a smooth implementation of the project deliverables into the business through change management
Develop and maintain training material, SOP and SAP procedures to ensure end-user training.
Service function related to business processes and systems:
Ensure consistent service is provided to users by keeping all team members up-to-date on ongoing activities and establishing training within the department
Back-up for daily handling of requests, inquiries, etc. from country affiliates, including investigation, testing and feedback to the initiator
Bachelor or Master’s degree or equal by experience in relevant field such as: Business Administration, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Economics, Science, Engineering
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in an international environment
Profound knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is an asset)
Fluent in English, Dutch and French. Other language is an asset.
Excellent communication and training skills
Knowledge of process redesign and Lean transformation tools & techniques

Strong interest in business and business development
Willingness to travel up to 10 % of the time
