Abbott Regional Sales Manager - Hospital and Paediatrics in Macquarie Park, Australia
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Manager to join our successful Hospital & Paediatrics team. This role is a 12 months maternity leave replacement role based in NSW (Sydney) with responsibility for all states within Australia.
Reporting into the Head of Sales for Hospital & Paediatrics channels, your main objective is to drive profitable growth and achieve the sales objectives for the organisation through successful management and coaching of the representatives within Australia.
Working closely with each representative, you will be responsible for their ongoing development and continuous coaching and guidance, to improve business performance and to ensure all sales activities/initiatives within the channels are met and exceeded.
You will assist in the development of each representative’s individual territory business plans and be required to travel extensively and conduct regular field visits alongside representatives to ensure effective implementation of those plans as well as lead regular team cycle meetings and conferences.
Your role will not only involve in-field activities but you will also work closely with the Pricing and Tenders Analyst to drive the strategy and execution of Australian State Hospital tenders (Public and Private).
To be successful in this role, we require:
Significant experience in selling to Hospitals and Paediatric Specialists and have managed/led a Hospital or Ethical sales team in Australia
Have the proven experience in leading a successful sales team
Be results driven, analytical and commercially astute
Be adaptable to change and have a solution orientated mindset
Advanced interpersonal skills and collaborate with others
Have strong communication skills both verbal and written
Have experience working with Australian State Hospital tenders (Public and Private)
Have experience with Salesforce.com
Possess Tertiary Qualifications
