Provides financial planning, analysis and reporting to management for the assigned entity/ies. Performs moderately complete analysis and review of operating results. Provides input into the development of Division’s strategic and operating plan.

Job Duties:

  • Performs financial planning and analysis activities for assigned entity/ies which may include any combination of the following areas: revenue recognition, shareholder value, market modeling, business development, profit and loss, budgeting, gross margin, workforce planning, investments, cash flow management, finance system planning, etc.

  • Provides standard reports to management due to solid knowledge of finance systems and familiarity of the entity operations.

  • Provides month end analysis and commentary related to the financial close cycle.

  • Prepares and analyzes actual operating results compared to plan and forecast and verifies, investigates and quantifies variances and their impact.

  • Based on reporting and analysis, makes recommendations to finance management and to assigned client groups within business entity.

  • Participate on special projects as assigned by finance management

  • Executes annual goals as assigned based on entity/ies operating plans and department needs.

  • Prepares consolidated reporting for annual and quarterly results reporting.

General Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 or more years ofof progressively responsible experience in financial planning and analysis. Experience in a medical device industry preferred.

  • Must have strong experience and proficiency with finance/accounting related software packages

  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.

  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.

  • Ability to travel approximately 5%, including internationally
