We are seeking a high caliber, Quality Technician II. This position is responsible for managing the processes and providing quality technical support within manufacturing or system/services support. Impact this role will have on Abbott:
Perform final product inspections against specification and procedural requirements
Complete final product quality release transactions
Document nonconformance’s as appropriate and assist in the investigation and resolution of nonconformance’s
Initiate related documentation changes
Collect data, summarize, analyze, perform basic statistical analysis on, and document test results
Participates in GR&R studies as directed by engineers or technicians.
Assists in the Development and Validation of inspection methods.
Create and maintain control plans/ quality plans for products and processes
Assist in writing, executing, and documenting equipment, product, process, and test method verifications, qualifications, and validations
Your experience(s), education and knowledge will further Abbott’s marketplace success:
High School degree; 2-year technical degree preferred.
5 + years’ experience
High level of attention to detail
Previous experience in assisting with validations & qualifications, Gage R&R, test methods, and NCMR dispositioning
Knowledge of Quality Systems, FDA regulations, ISO 13485 and applicable worldwide regulatory requirements
Experience with optical measurement equipment, hand tools, gages, pressure and force gage testing
Training in print reading and experience with sampling techniques
Good communication and computer skills, including data analysis and report writing skills
Your preferred qualifications and education:
Prior medical device experience
ASQ CQT certification or equivalent
