Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Reporting to the Manager Sales Operations, this position requires the following:

  • Knowledge of the Canadian Retail Consumer Goods landscape, particularly with Head Offices.

  • Basic knowledge / experience with Best in Class Category Management Best Practices, including working level comfort with syndicated data (TSA, RxDynamics, etc.)

  • Provide support in developing and managing National Retail banners/chains programs

  • Working cross-functionally with Marketing team to help produce marketing material for National Retail banners/chains

  • Provide analytical and data gathering support on: shipments, consumption, promotions, execution of retail initiatives:

  • Execution of standardized and ad-hoc tracking, and analysis on retail driven activities to include: developing data capture and reporting systems/processes

  • Responsible for Retail Sales Operations performance tracking

  • Provide key relevant information to Division, Retail, and Finance leadership on retail sales performance.

  • Work with Retail Field Operations, responsible for gathering & communicating monthly cycle priorities

  • Coordinate activities to support Sales/Marketing initiatives

  • Act as link between Marketing and Sales, communicate needs & requests

  • Develop Trade Decks (new products)

  • Support Sales Team on customer specific requests, egg: Admats, product information

  • Bachelor’s Degree, (Administration, Finance or Marketing)

  • One to 3 years related experience

  • Knowledge of the retail landscape (particularly Head Offices) and category management are core competencies.

  • Strong communicator with both internal & external stakeholders

  • Comfortable in an atmosphere of constant disruption, is able to problem-solve with ease

  • Strong advocate of information sharing and a teamwork approach

  • Maintain proficiency in the use of Abbott computer systems, space management software, Nielsen Answers, account-specific data sources, Data Warehouse, Microsoft programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word (Intermediate/Advanced).
