Status: Temporary, Part Time

Position Overview :

  • Conduct primary and secondary research related to Procurement practices in the Cardiovascular and Health market globally.

  • Precis academic papers on value-based procurement.

  • Work with Marketing Manager, Sales team members, and third party consultant on Procurement-related projects.

  • Bolster stakeholder maps with contact and background research within Canada.

  • Act as a communication pivot point between Abbott stakeholders for a cross divisional project.

  • Data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in our business.

Responsibilities :

  • Primary and secondary research on CV markets in Canada.

  • Drafting reports and building decks and data analysis to support Procurement project.

  • Developing an in-depth stakeholder map for specific geographies/ networks within Canada.

  • Build knowledge of other Abbott Vascular products in the Cardiovascular Division (CV) as required.

  • Participate in setting up surveys and first hand primary research with the market.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science, Engineering, or related technical degree completed. Masters or work towards one in a related discipline in progress.

  • Experience preferred in a hospital, healthcare company, clinical or device/pharmaceutical professional setting, cardiovascular experience an asset.

  • Outstanding Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), particularly with PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Proven experience taking action to achieve goals (proactive/shows initiative).

  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English, French considered an asset.

  • Works effectively in a team environment and independently.

  • Moral, ethical and professional image at all times, coupled with strong communication skills.
